Anything that contains memory foam is known to be warmer than standard foam but we have some tricks up our sleeve - we’ve crafted the perfect mattress that is specifically designed to keep you nice and cool. Our top Simbatex layer contains natural cooling balms and combined with the breathable sleep surface and grooved support base, all help to ventilate and cool the mattress.

The nature of the Hybrid design in our Simba mattress provides minimal to no movement transfer and actively adjusts for two people of different sizes to give you both a perfect night's sleep.

Our Simba mattress is designed for all sorts of body shapes. Our 10 year warranty covers a maximum weight limit of 250 lbs (114kg) per sleeper.

There's no reason why our mattresses wouldn't be suitable for kids, but as a general rule we would recommend a minimum age of three years as at this age children start to have better control of their bodies during sleep.

Yes, you safely can. There's no latex in our mattress, so anyone can have access to a perfect night's sleep.

You'll be relieved to hear that the Simba mattress is designed to offer the same cozy, restful support for pregnant women as for all other adults. We take with the details, like hypoallergenic covers and CertiPUR label foams.

We're not medical professionals, and we can't judge what's right for your back. All we can say is that we've received huge amounts of positive feedback from sleepers who tell they've suffered from aches and pains and that they feel that their Simba mattress has helped them to finally achieve a great night’s sleep.
If you're looking for support and comfort, one of the innovations you might find helps is our spring layer. Our springs are lighter and finer than traditional chunky bedsprings, so you won't get that poking-in feeling. And they're made to a patented, cone-shaped design which hugs every point of the body and pivots and flexes to distribute your weight fully for pressure relief. If you think that might be what you're looking for, then remember we also offer a 100 night trial so you can really put it to the test.

You may use light fabric cleaning products or simply a soft, damp cloth to wipe it clean. We find small, circular motions to be most effective. It's OK to do so, but we don't recommend removing the cover.

It's a pain, and no-one enjoys it, so you'll be relieved to hear that our Simba mattress is non-flip since our unique layering system is designed to offer incredibly one-way support. If you want to really do your best by your mattress, rotating it every so often can help - maybe once a month to begin with and then reducing it to every 3-6 months.

Now that would be a sight to see! Once out of the box, there's no way to get the mattress back inside and we don't recommend attempting to fold or roll it otherwise this may damage the spring layer inside.

Our mattresses are designed to work on any supportive and dedicated mattress platforms including adjustable bases - it’s best on a sprung or rigid slatted bed frame, or a divan/box-spring.
If you choose to use a slatted bed frame, please ensure the slats are no greater than 3 inches (7.6cm) apart.

We're embarrassed to bring it up, but you might notice a slightly unusual smell in the first few nights - fresh-out-of-the-box foam can be like that. Once it's had a chance to air out for a few days that will fade away and won't come back.

You certainly don't need to, but to keep your Simba looking pristine we suggest using a thin mattress protector.

We don't recommend using Simba with a sofa bed as folding the mattress in that way may damage the spring layer inside.

Yes, the mattress has been fully tested and works perfectly with all types of adjustable and electric beds - it'll perform in any position that you find most comfortable!

As the 5 Simba layers are strategically placed for ultimate comfort and support, it's important that they're used the right way up. The white polyester sleep surface is what you want to be sleeping on and you should notice a Simba tag on the top edge.

Absolutely! Just remember that a cooler room can help you get better sleep.

It's so simple you could do it in your sleep. Just open the box and unroll the flattened mattress on your bed base. Carefully cut the plastic and break the vacuum seal. Then remove all the packaging and watch your Simba rise to the occasion.
It's safe and ready for use within three to six hours, though it might take up to 72 hours for it to expand completely - so don't be surprised if it seems fuller after a couple of days. You don't have to keep any packaging, so feel free to dispose of the box or transform it into a something fun for the kids (or pets).

Your mattress is ready for sleep in as little as three to six hours after unboxing. It can take up to 72 hours for your mattress to fully rise to the occasion, but you can sleep on it and feel the Simba difference from day one.

If you go by generic mattress ratings, we call ours 'medium-firm'. But we don't think that's very helpful - and it doesn't account for the unique design of the Simba mattress. Or that it was tested using data from ten million sleepers' body profiles, making up 180 million profile points. We built over 70 prototypes which confirmed that the mattress design that suits the most sleepers is a hybrid - but not just any hybrid. We're confident ours is perfect for 95% of sleepers, and 100,000+ five-star reviews of our products globally suggest we're right.

The perfect depth! The Simba is 12 inches in height. We've packed a lot of technology into our range but your normal sheets will fit this just fine.

Your Simba Hybrid®, whatever the size, will be delivered in a 107cm x 50cm x 50cm dimension box. You should see our flattening, folding and rolling machine in action, although stand well clear!

While do have a large range of sizes, we don't currently offer made-to-measure sizing.

We make an effort to ensure that the manufacturing process for Simba is as environmentally friendly as possible. All waste foam from the manufacturing process is sold on for use in other products, such as flooring underlay, PE mats and other cushion products. The mattress is also rolled and delivered in a box to reduce the carbon footprint effect during delivery.

And yes, with the exception of our Pro Flex 5000 mattress which features a natural Canadian wool top layer, our Simba mattresses contain no animal products and are not tested on animals.

Simbatex is our specially developed cooling foam. It has an open-cell structure which keeps you cool by encouraging air flow through the mattress. So you enjoy the cloud-like comfort of foam, without it getting too hot and sinky.
Also, because the Simba is not only foam, the layer of flexible, pressure-relieving springs acts like bellows to push air through the mattress. Pretty cool, right?

We do suggest that you give your Simba at least 30 nights to ‘bed in’ – any new mattress can feel a bit different at first.

We're proud to offer a 10 year guarantee on each Simba mattress. If your mattress fails within that period due to a manufacturing defect we will exchange it for a brand new one.
We don't have any hidden charges, and our mattresses are built to last. The guarantee covers physical manufacturing flaws in the mattress layers but only includes defects relating to the mattress cover for the first year and does not cover conditions resulting in wear and tear and customer damage e.g damage whilst moving.
As part of the guarantee, we ask that you make sure to rotate (not flip!) the mattress regularly to keep it in optimum condition. Just turn it once a month for the first 3 months, then every 3-6 months for the rest of its life.

Simba is based in the UK in London, where we design our mattresses for all our global customers.
