The Simba
microspring comfort layer
Experience gravity defying comfort on the Simba Aerocoil® spring layer.
These small, conical springs are the key to our incredible comfort; they’re made from super-strong steel, so even their micro size and thickness gives you the support you need.
You can’t feel them but there are up to 2,500 of these patented, pocketed springs nestling in the upper comfort layer of our mattresses; each spring flexes inwards as you and your partner move, offering personalized support to one without disturbing the other. And as they compress and extend with you, they gently push air through the comfort layer, helping to keep you at just the right temperature.
So now you know. Small really is beautiful.

Being too hot at night is an absolute no-no for great sleep. That’s why we’ve given the BlueTech 10 an extra thick, 2-inch layer of our ingenious Simbatex® foam. Not only does this give you a luxuriously plush layer of cushioned comfort, it has a more open structure than memory foam, with over 5x more airflow(i). Plus, we’ve infused it with a naturally occurring mineral called graphite which draws heat away from your body.

We're proud to offer a 10-year guarantee on each Simba mattress. If your mattress fails within that period due to a manufacturing defect we will exchange it for a brand new one.

Our foams have all received the CertiPUR-US® certified label, meeting the requirements of unwanted chemicals in foams. No destructive agents of ozone, heavy metals, mercury or lead have therefore been used for their manufacture. They are also perfectly safe and suitable for everyone.

All the foam in our mattresses is CertiPUR-US® certified, which means it’s free from harmful metals and dyes. But our sleep engineers have gone further; whilst foam in other mattresses includes environmentally damaging chemicals like phosphates, parabens, biocides and persistent pollutants in order to meet fire safety regulations, our foam, is free from all those pollutants yet still exceeds all fire safety regulations.
The materials in our BlueTech 10 are also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, which is a globally recognized, independent certification for textiles that have been tested for harmful substances at all stages of production, from raw materials to finished products. For a safer sleep, all round.

We’ve used our expertise to reduce our use of energy and materials, and all our mattresses are designed to be 100% recyclable. To prove the point, we’re proud to tell you that any old Simba mattresses returned to us are refurbished or recycled.

These are some of the common bases used with our mattresses:

Any supportive bed base is suitable, as long as that's its dedicated purpose. The BlueTech 10 Mattress is at its best on a sprung or rigid divan or slatted bed frame.
If you have a slatted base, quickly whip out the tape measure to check the slats aren't more than three inches apart.
Think of it as the 'no flipping way'. You don't have to turn it (phew), but rotating your mattress regularly is one of the very few conditions of your ten year warranty. Take it for a 180 degree spin on the base once a month for the first 3 months, then every 3-6 months for the rest of its life.
If you go by generic mattress ratings, we call ours 'medium-firm'. But we don't think that's very helpful, as it doesn't account for the unique design of the BlueTech 10 Mattress, developed using over 70 prototypes and tested against data from ten million sleepers' body profiles, making up 180 million profile points. We're confident ours is perfect for 95% of sleepers, and thousands of five-star reviews suggest we're right.
We're not medical professionals, and we can't judge what's right for your back.
